BOSU/Disc

A great way to both work on strengthening the core muscles that wrap around your waist and support your spine and improve your balance and coordination is with a new workout tool called a BOSU which stands for "both sides up." On one side it is a half of a balance ball on the other side it is a flat surface.

This is a great tool that allows you to complete a variety of different workouts. Inflatable discs or foam pads are another type of workout tool to exercise your nervous system and improve your balance and coordination. This is a great way to reduce your risk of injury as you age. Many age-related injuries are due to falls because of poor balance and coordination.

Testimonials

Reviews By Our Satisfied Patients

  • "I have been going to Dr. Thompson for about 1 1/2 years. He and Julie are great. I initially went in because of constant neck and back pain and I was leaning heavily to the right. Dr Thompson explained Activator Methods Technique to me and he worked with me to get me where I am today. I has worked wonders. I now stand up straight and only have occasional lower back pain which is treated on maintenance schedule. I feel so much better and I feel that my overall health has improved. I highly recommend Dr John Thompson."

  • "This was my first experience with any chiropractor. So I was quite apprehensive. I came to Dr. Thompson because he uses the Activator Method of treatment and I was needing relief from sciatic nerve pain. Amazingly I felt some relief after only 3 treatments and now 10 treatments later later I am pain free. It seems like a miracle to me."
